The lights only help when someone looks at them, and the panel is easy to miss. You don't check the DCM-1. It checks in with you: it stays quiet while everything is normal and sends an alert to your phone when your system needs water, pads or power.

Yes. A PianoCloud Monitor subscription runs the cloud service that sends your alerts. Without one, the DCM-1 stays dormant. Plans start at $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, with a free trial (7 days on monthly plans, 30 days on annual plans). See the plans.

The DCM-1 is $165. The PianoCloud Monitor app is a subscription:

Installation is arranged with your piano technician and is not included.

Nothing breaks and nothing is lost. The DCM-1 stays dormant and your Piano Life Saver® System keeps working exactly as before, lights and all. Restart the subscription and it picks right back up.

Your piano technician installs it, usually during a regular service visit. It takes about ten minutes and connects between your system's LED panel and its H-5 humidistat. No certified installer nearby? Search by ZIP code, or ask your own technician to get certified; it is free.

Yes. Download PianoCloud Monitor and explore it in demo mode with sample pianos. You can also create your account and sign in; your piano appears once you add your DCM-1.

Yes. From the app you can invite family, staff or whoever waters the piano, and they get the alerts on their own phone. You can also add your piano technician, who then gets a daily email if a fault on your piano goes uncorrected overnight.

Create a technician account, take the online course (about 15 minutes), and pass a 10-question check. Your certificate is issued with its own number and you appear in our Find an Installer directory. There is no cost.

Yes, a PianoCloud Monitor subscription is required, from $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. Your margin on the unit and your installation fee are yours from day one.

A free daily email if a fault on that client's piano goes uncorrected overnight, so you can reach out before damage is done. There is no technician subscription and nothing to manage.

Yes. Logos, a product photo and approved wording are on our brand page. If your page names Dampp-Chaser® or Piano Life Saver®, include the trademark paragraph from that page. Certified installers also receive their own numbered seal by email to display, linked to their certificate.
