Beta Program & Pricing FAQs

What's the difference between Basic and Pro plans?

The Basic plan monitors one device, perfect for a single piano. The Pro plan monitors up to 5 devices, ideal for piano studios, schools, or households with multiple pianos. Both plans include the same monitoring features and 90-day data history.

How is installation billed?

Installation is performed by independent certified technicians who set their own rates. Typically, installation takes 30–45 minutes and can be done during a regular tuning appointment. Contact a certified installer in your area for pricing. Installation fees are separate from the subscription.

Why is the technician tier free?

We provide free access to certified piano technicians so they can monitor their customer installations and provide better service. This benefits both technicians and piano owners. Technicians must complete our certification course and can only access devices with customer permission.

When do I replace the batteries?

The DCM-1 runs on 3 AA lithium batteries with approximately 1-year battery life. The device will alert you when batteries are low. Replacement is simple and can be done by you or your technician.
