First, ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz (DCM-1 doesn't support 5GHz). Check that your SSID and password are correct. If issues persist, try power cycling the device or see our troubleshooting guide.
The DCM-1 will alert you through the app when batteries are low. Typical battery life is 12 months with 3× AA lithium batteries. You can replace them yourself or have your piano technician do it during a regular service visit.
In the PianoCloud app, go to Device Settings > Technician Access. Enter your technician's email and they'll receive an invitation. You can revoke access at any time from the same menu.
DCM-1 requires LED indicators (POWER, WATER, PADS) to function. If your system doesn't have LEDs, the DCM-1 won't be compatible. Contact your piano technician about upgrading your humidity control system.
The DCM-1 device is $149.99 one-time purchase. A subscription ($4.99/mo or $9.99/mo) is required to access cloud monitoring, alerts, and the mobile app. See our pricing page for details.
Yes! The Basic plan supports 1 device, while the Pro plan ($9.99/mo) supports up to 5 devices. Perfect for piano studios, schools, or households with multiple pianos.
DCM-1 devices come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. If your device fails due to a manufacturing defect, we'll replace it at no charge.
We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase. Device must be in original condition with all packaging. Contact info@pianocloud.ai to initiate a return.
If your device stops working, contact support with your device ID and description of the issue. We'll troubleshoot remotely first, and if necessary, ship a replacement device to you or your technician.
